Held annually on the summer solstice, The Longest Day symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with Alzheimer’s and those who care for them.

“There are thousands of teams all across the world today that are participating in The Longest Day, raising awareness and funds, so we can fight this disease and ultimately find a cure — that’s our end game and our vision,” said Mitchel Sloan, vice president of development and communications for the California Central Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
