A film director went undercover in an Alzheimer’s home for 5 days and hold a symposium to, among other things, tell about his experiences.
“Keep in mind that everybody living with dementia — and I constantly use that phrase, people living with dementia — they are still individuals, are still persons and that’s starting point from which we need to relate to them,” he said. “Even people with more advance dementia are absolutely still there, we just need to know how to reach them.”
